This blog is a record of my journey to live a more environmentally conscious and sustainable lifestyle.
It began as journal entries and notes from BUS 490: Living Within Our Means, Building Sustainable Organizations, a Point Loma Nazarene University course taught by Dr. Harry Watkins.
This class was a pilot course that set the way for a new Sustainability Minor at PLNU. I am proud to have been a part of the first class that collaborated on many great projects such as assessing the carbon footprint of the San Diego Zoo.
We were empowered by Dr. Watkins to contribute our feedback and affect the future of course. It was an honor to be a part of the continued movement of PLNU to inspire students to be more environmentally aware and oriented towards social justice.
Now an alumnus of PLNU, this blog is a collection of experiences, thoughts, and conversations of the issues I learned about in the sustainability class in motion in “the real world.”
